On September 18th I ran my first 5k trail race at the Guelph Arboretum cross country course. Its a really lovely place to run but the course is tough with a big hill at the half way point and another big hill to the finish. It took me 30:27 to finish placing me 62nd out of 94 (men & women), 28th out of 49 women and 7th out of 13 in my age group. All and all a good result for my first ever trail race. I look forward to trying this course a second time at the Wintercross event in November.
